Following in her sister’s footsteps, Sandra Vergara was recently cast for a role in an upcoming remake movie called “Friday Night.”

The sister to “Modern Family’s” Sofia will play a girlfriend and assistant to a magician and is set to star alongside Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, David Tennant, Anton Yelchin, and Imogen Poots.

The 1985 cult classic which has a release date of Octobeer 7th, 2011, will be directed by Craig Gillespie.

You may have seen Ms Vergara in small roles on shows such as “Nip/Tuck,” “CSI: Miami” and “Eleventh Hour.”
