Spencer Pratt On Married Life: “Never Happier”

Talking to press for the first time since his Mexican wedding, Spencer Pratt is laughing off talk that his nuptials with Heidi Montag are all just a publicity stunt.

“We had a beautiful ceremony here at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer,” Pratt explained. “We’ve never been happier.”

Still down south of the border enjoying a romantic getaway, the “Hills” star added, “Like other elopements that happen outside the country, we’ll take care of the legal details when we get home.”

In related news, it was also just announced that “the couple’s married life and honeymoon will play a prominent part on The Hills’ upcoming fifth season.”

“MTV is currently filming Heidi and Spencer in Mexico, as we were expecting to capture them on vacation,” the show’s executive producer Liz Gateley told MTV News. “Fans will be able to see the exclusive footage from the ceremony in an upcoming episode, and we will continue to follow the newlyweds’ relationship as it plays out in real life.”
