She’s always up for a snazzy shindig, and last night (March 7) Jessica Simpson was spotted at the 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Joined by BFF Ken Paves, the “Come On Over” songstress looked lovely in a one-shoulder black dress as she posed for the paparazzi outside the Sunset Tower Hotel.

In related news, although one of Jessica’s exes, John Mayer, was embarrassing her in the press as of late, another ex, Billy Corgan, has been singing her praises.

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman told press, “My goal in life is to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It’s really simple.”
