With her 38th birthday only a week away, Sofia Vergara has had the biggest year of her career after gaining worldwide attention stemming from her role on the hit comedy series “Modern Family”.

With her acting skills gaining her further work in projects such as the upcoming “Smurfs” movie, the Colombian beauty is also highly regarded in the beauty department – with many fans mentioning her curvy figure as being one of the best in Tinseltown.

Meanwhile, Sofia will soon be making her way to the Goldenson Theatre in Los Angeles, as she’ll join Joe McHale in announcing the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations at 8:30AM ET on Thursday, July 8.

Not only acting as an announcer, it’s expected that Miss Vergara’s name will be read out as a contender for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series trophy.

“Modern Family” is also expected to garner a bid for Outstanding Comedy Series.
