Models First Photo Shoot

We have put together some tips for models needing to know what they need to do before their first photo shoot. One of the big and main things models can do before the first photo shoot or any photo shoot, is to be prepared. Models should prepare as if they already had a photo shoot scheduled. When models meet the photographer or magazine editor models will be in their best shape.

After models are comfortable with the terms of the shoot, they need to know other details. Is there going to be a make-up artist or hair stylist at the shoot location? Or will you need to do your own make-up for the shoot? There are some models that prefer doing their own make-up and hair for photo shoots. Having a professional make-up artist and hair stylist on location at the shoot is definitely the way to go for fashion models. Models also need to know what type of clothing they are expected to wear at the shoot. Is the clothing going to be provided or do the models need to provide the clothing? These are all things models need to find out and be prepared for before any photo shoot.

A few days before the shoot, models should try avoiding foods high in sodium. Models should stay on a good diet. Models also should keep up the exercising, and any tanning they are doing. If models do their own hair and make-up, they should be prepared with doing this. Some models may be nervous before doing photo shoots, and they should practice some poses. Amateur models should practice doing poses in front of a good sized mirror.

On the day of the photo shoot models should be relaxed, prepared, and ready to go! Make sure you have everything ready you need to take with you. If it’s going to be a long shoot, models might want to consider taking a snack or lunch with them. A good idea would be a salad, fruit, and water.

Vidya was born in the Tamil-speaking Balan family on January 1, 1978 in Palghat, Kerala, India. Her family consists of her dad, P.R. Balan, who is the Vice-President of ETC Channel; mom - a home-maker, and an elder sister, Priya, who is married to Kedar. She also has an aunt by the name of Raji Raju. The Balan family re-located to live at Road No. 11, near Ambedkar Garden, Chembur, Bombay, when Vidya was very young. She studied in St. Anthony’s Convent School, and thereafter in St. Xavier’s College from where she obtained a degree in Sociology. She then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Sociology from Bombay University. She also studied and performed in Prithvi Theaters’ workshops. Amrita was born in the Rao family on June 17, 1981 in Chitrapur, and she was not alone - for she has twin sister. Her dad’s name is Deepak, they are a conservative Hindu, Konkani-speaking, Saraswat Brahmin family. Amrita has led a very protective life.
