London, Nov 7 (IANS) American pop and R&B singer Christina Aguilera has starred as a superhero fighting crime in a comic book inspired advertisement.
The pop star plays a series of superheroes in the commercial to promote the release of her greatest hits album, “Keeps Getting Better - A Decade of Hits”, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The albunm goes on sale exclusively in the US store Target Nov 11.

London, Nov 4 (IANS) German supermodel Heidi Klum has spoofed Hollywood actor Tom Cruise’s air guitar scene from a 1980s movie “Risky Business” in a new advertisement for a series of music video games Guitar Hero.
Klum slides into action wearing just her underwear and a shirt (which she takes off in the editor’s cut version) and strums along to American rock and roll singer Bob Seger’s classic “Old Time Rock and Roll”, like Cruise did in the movie, reports thesun.co.uk.
She even performs some of his dodgy moves, such as falling onto a couch and kicking her legs in the air.
Klum was at a heart of a controversy recently when she dressed up as Hindu goddess Kali for a Halloween party.

Anjori spent some memorable moments with friends and family in London recently. Talking about her trip she said, ‘I caught up with boarding school friends and spent quality time with them. One of my friends is a head chef at a Russian Restaurant. He showed me around the kitchen and cooked a four course meal for me. I was so overwhelmed that I wanted to be a part of his cooking and acted as if I was a cook too. This is for the first time that I tasted Russian food and it was just out of this world.’ Anjorie also visited Nobu, the swankiest Chinese restaurant in London. ‘I went there with my family. It is one of the best Chinese joints in the UK.’
Besides eating her heart out Anjorie shopped till she dropped. ‘I shopped like a maniac! Selfridges and Jane Norman are my favourite stores in the UK. I also traveled to High Street Kensingston, knightsbridge. I also made a special visit to Harrods pet shop and saw some of the most adorable puppies and kittens.’ But the most unforgettable moments that Anjorie encountered in the UK were watching John Mayer singing live and The Lord of The Rings on stage and coming across Nelson Mandela. In an excited tone Anjorie added, ‘Nelson Mandela stepped out of the Dorchester hotel from the left hand side door and I was standing literally 7 ft away from him. I even managed to click some great pictures of him. Besides that, I watched The Lord of the Rings with dropped jaw… it was so overwhelming! The production value of the play left me completely spellbound. I enjoyed watching John Mayer singing live at Hyde Park.’

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 1 (IANS) Two popular Malaysian TV actors were caught in “close proximity” in the early hours in an office, triggering a scandal.
Norman Hakim, 32, and Memey Suhaiza, 20, were caught in the former’s office Thursday by officials of the Selangor state Islamic Affairs Department, who acted on a tip-off.
The “offence” has attracted the religious law since ‘khalwat’ or close proximity is a crime in Islam.
Hakim has not denied being with Memey, but says it is a “misunderstanding”, The Star newspaper said Saturday.
The incident was reported Friday, but The New Straits Times did not give the names.
Hakim’s marital problems with co-star and wife Abby Abadi has been in the news. The couple has three children.
The marriage is on the rocks and has taken a turn for the worse after the incident.
The officials who raided the office at 3 a.m., said both were fully clothed when arrested. They were brought to the police station for questioning.
The team rushed to the office and knocked on the door but there was no answer.
They were about to break it down when Hakim appeared, an official said.
Memey said she was there to help out Hakim at a meeting. “The others then left and I was alone on the first floor of the office.
When contacted, Hakim did not deny the arrest. However, he insisted that it was a case of misunderstanding, The Star said.
“I was having a meeting with four of my employees at my office. Memey was one of those who attended the meeting,” said Hakim, who is popular for his role in television serial “Gerak Khas”.
He said Memey had been helping him since August after a worker resigned and when he returned to office at 1 a.m., his management staff members had left and Memey was the only one there.
“I soon heard loud noises downstairs and saw the Jais officers outside,” he said.
Hakim’s wife said she was shocked to learn about the incident. “I’ve actually given up on my marriage. My feelings have not been taken into consideration for a long time now,” Abby said.
Memey, when contacted by Malay news portal mStar, said she was not aware that Hakim was in the office at the time.
She only knew he was there when the raid was conducted. “After a meeting that lasted until midnight, Hakim left while a few of the staff and I were still in the office.
“The others then left and I was alone on the first floor of the office,” she said.
Memey said she was afraid to answer the door when she heard someone knocking and called Hakim who appeared half an hour later.
“It was only then that I realised that Jais was conducting a raid and that Hakim was on the second floor,” she added.
